The riding is good !!! Well groomed in Chittenden and Pittsfield. A bit warmer today and a few lucky riders taking advantage of some of the best early season conditions in years. The water bars are filling in nicely .A light snow has continued to fall most of the afternoon. As always …

The Chittenden area received another 8 to 12 “of fresh snow yesterday. That combined with diligent grooming has produced early season snowmobiling in Chittenden not seen in many years. The water bar situation is improving however still be aware of obstacles that may be present.

A few local riders were out on the Chittenden trails today enjoying some good early season conditions. Yesterdays Rain/freezing rain helped solidify our base. The next storm should really bring things into line for a great holiday week of riding. HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL.

It’s Snowing !!!, The Chittenden trails are currently accepting a moderate to heavy snowfall with about 6 ” accumulated at 12:30. Early season conditions have been sweetened up a bit by a few inches of snow . For those willing to ride cautiously there is riding to be had. Cold weather has set up any standing water however exposed water bars remain. If you choose to ride please ride safely.
