The cold and snow are challenges to cameras and taking photos on winter excursions. Some adaptations are waterproof cases and specialized camera’s. This SD card creates a special WiFi connection to your iPhone. In my case, I have a small waterproof camera that does not have GPS. According to this article this card would benefit my photography in two ways. First it would automatically wirelessly beam photos to my iPhone when I take shots with my waterproof camera. This eliminates the need to pull the card and plug it into my computer when I get home. The second benefit is that my GPS compatible iPhone can stay warm and dry in my pocket while my non-GPS camera takes pictures. When the photo is transferred to the iPhone immediately after shooting, it grabs the GPS data from the iPhone and is tagged like any photo taken with a GPS camera. Two devices working together to take advantage of the best features of both. Read this review: Eye-Fi Mobi SDHC Card (16 GB) – The Phoblographer and here is the link to the Eye-Fi Mobi Card.
