“We are so incredibly grateful to the Chittenden Dammers and all of the individuals and organizations who donated their services and materials for this renovation. The Food Shelf has been in need of an update for quite some time, and it is finally a space where we are truly proud to greet our neighbors in. The transformation has been a complete 180°, and we get compliments from every single person who sees it. The whole process of the renovation was very easy for us, as the communication was excellent. Keeping me informed every step of the way. Thank you to everyone involved for making our space so inviting.”

Sarah Harrington, Executive Director, Pittsford Food Shelf.

A letter from the Officers and Board of Directors:

October 27, 2023

Hello All,
It is with an immeasurable amount of appreciation and gratitude that we acknowledge and thank all the volunteers and sponsors that made this project a tremendous success. Everyone was so responsive and generous!

The project was intended to be a full-scale renovation to welcome all families and friends from Chittenden, Pittsford, Proctor and Florence. We wanted to honor the patrons, the hardworking staff and volunteers at the PFS by completely renovating the interior, installing new climate control systems, flooring, fixtures and other infrastructure. We chose to use first-class products which will be beneficial for years to come. The Pittsford Food Shelf now has a clean, sleek, and fresh new look!

We wish to thank the PFS staff and volunteers, the volunteers who assisted with the renovations, and the sponsors for making this project a total success.

Our deepest gratitude to everyone that made this transformation an awesome success!!

Respectfully,

The Chittenden Dammers Officers and Board of Directors
