TRAIL REPORT JANUARY 29,2010

Just got off the phone with Trail Master Clark.The Chittenden Trails are indeed open.They went out and broke it up a bit and are planning on grooming tonight and tomorrow night.There is about 4″ of fresh snow up high with lesser amounts in lower elevations ( like 1″),there are a few washouts etc so use caution. Just rode a bit and it if you really need a fix do it however very scratchy getting to rideable and ICY conditions .The good news is that there is still a decent base and a 6″ snow fall will make it decent again.
