Trail Report December 16,2017

Well opening day has arrived and the trails are open. We rode from Chittenden to Pittsfield ( The Clear). There were some really nice sections with some really not good ones as is to be expected early season. Up on Blood Root there was about 2 feet of snow with lesser amounts the lower you go. It is rideable provided you are careful lots of exposed water bars along with a fair number of rocks. Personally I’m not planning on riding again until we get a bit more snow. If you need to scratch the itch careful riding is available.
