Trail Report January 5,2021

The Chittenden area received 4 to 5 inches of heavy snow Sunday night. That on top of about an inch of sleet has made limited riding available on the Chittenden trail system. Paul has been out packing what we have and has cleared most of the blow downs. 7 North is closed by Smoking Tree (Boiling springs Trail) 7 A is open. If you choose to ride do so with caution as the snow cover is minimal and rocks and other obstacles are present. Lets hope for a snowy weather pattern to evolve (which is forecasted) and really get things going in coming weeks. We are one good storm away from some great riding.!!
