We have all seen the extended weather report so I won’t get into that. The trails in Chittenden remain in good shape at the moment. Temperatures in higher elevations have remained considerably colder, Blood root was 22 F at 4:00 PM yesterday. The riding in Chittenden is not going down with out a fight. It has softened but remains in great shape with some bumped out areas but overall looks very good at the moment. North Pond was showing some wear in the mid section; I personally do not recommend riding that trail. We are on a day to day basis and expect changing conditions with warmer temp’s on the horizon. Please ride with caution and expect variable conditions, enjoy it while we can. We will see what happens after the next five days when it is expected to go back to colder temp’s.
