Spring riding continues in Chittenden. Cold temps have kept the surface firm and intact . Quite a few sledders out today and things started to bump up a bit but overall still fun but limited to higher areas .See if we can get into April with it. Ride safely .

   An inch of snow on top of the groomed surface has created more great spring riding in Chittenden And Pittsfield, The groomer was just out in Pittsfield. Stay up high forget any valley riding. ( unless we gwt some more snow) . Enjoy and ride safely to the right.

  The cold weather has really helped extend the season. The Chittenden trails are groomed flat and are quite hard but carveable and cooling is not an issue, with some icy spots . Overall excellent riding .Just be aware of the firm icy areas .Enjoy and ride safely .

  Just caught Arlyn as he was headed out to groom. He has gone over the entire system and reports a flat and firm surface with excellent coverage except for access areas which have a bit of snow  from recent snowfalls . Spring riding carries on enjoy and ride safely.

   Spring riding is still available in Chittenden. A few inches of wet snow and colder temps especially up high have made riding pretty decent in the higher terrrain. With variable snow and limited grooming caution is advised if you decide to ride. Access trails are thin or snirt . Ride safely.
