The warm rains have taken a toll on the fresh snow.Still rideable if you enter up high like Upper Michigan rd in Pittsfield.Keep the faith the long term forcast looks decent.:)

Good Riding In Chittenden
We had quite a possie of riders out last night enjoying the generally excellent conditions.Still a need to watch for waterbars common early season. Merry Christmas !!

Grooming continues to improve overall condition of the Dammers trail system. Still some exposed waterbars so use caution . New pics posted in photo section. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO DEAN SOUTHWORTH !!!

The groomer has been out trying to get control of the nice snow fall in recent days. It is groomed but waterbars are still exposed and pose a hazzard, the riding is generally great with up to 3 + feet of fresh fluffy snow in the higher elevations with a general 2 + feet. …

Conditions December21 2008
Chittenden recieved up to two feet of snow in some of the higher elevations.A few hard core sledders were out breaking track for the groomer. It is currently snowing and things will continue to improve as the groomer gets out and covers the water bars and defines the trail. Enjoy the powder cautiously.
