It appears like the fat lady is about to sing. Meaning the season is getting to the end. The trails are now quite icy with intermitent areas of perfect flat snow. (Thanks Again Gwen & Paul). Do I recommend riding ? only if you are an experienced rider and use caution, picks definately help. Still …

Riding in Chittenden in the higher elevations remains really good. Still flat and quite firm excellent hook up !!. Please understand that spring conditions are quite changeable. Spring riding is in full swing in Chittenden. High elevation conditons are really good.In the lower areas use caution and be aware that you may be ripping down a straight only to be greeted by a sheet of ice in the corner,no big deal just be aware. Well the rain has put a damper on the riding but it is still alive and well in the higher terrain in Chittenden.I rode yesterday and it was really good flat and slightly loose on the surface. All this is thanks to Paul & Gwen for all their diligent grooming all season long. Anyways cooler …
