It was nice to see quite a few riders out today enjoying a fine late January day. Conditions have stabilized considerably from yesterday.Most of the slush has set up nicely and a few inches of new snows helped with cooling issues. The riding is not bad however beware of a few open water bars here …

Paul V and myself just checked out a portion of the Chittenden trail system.All things considered not that bad, nothing a few inches of snow and some cold temps can’t fix. We had couple inches on the back end of the rain but it is quite slushy in some spots .We are not recommending riding …

The Chittenden entire trail system has now all been groomed including the north end which includes Blood Root. We headed out early this AM and were greeted with a freshly groomed trail, pretty Dam nice if you ask me. Lower elevations showing wear from traffic also a rock here and there .The water bars are frozen well and starting to get filled in. Just wait until this weekend if you want to ride …
