The Chittenden area received around a foot of snow in most locations with higher amounts in higher elevations. When I get word about opening I will post .We may have some limited riding opening day December Saturday December16th.

The gates in Chittenden are closed the trails are also closed. Thank you all for your support of the Chittenden Dammers ,hope you had fun. We look forward to seeing you this summer or at our next meeting September 5th at 7:00 MT Top Inn Tavern. “Ride Smooth”

Today is the last day of trail reports. As far as I know JRod Sherman our club Vice President was the last person to ride in Chittenden for 2016/2017. I know he had a good ride reporting a few inches of new snow up on Blood Root . We currently do not recommend riding . …

The Chittenden area received over a foot of heavy wet snow in the last 24 hours. Paul has been out in the groomer as well as the folks over in Pittsfield. Spring conditions prevail so please ride with caution. Ride Safe and “Ride Smooth”

Riding remains rideable in higher elevations. With the snow in the forecast it may just be a decent weekend to ride. Keep your eye on the sky, pick up some fuel just in case. You can always dump in the car if the sled doesn’t need it. If you choose to ride please use caution spring …
