The trails are holding up well considering the amount of traffic .The groomers were out last night smoothing out the bumpy trails and they are quite whooped out in many areas so stand up riders will enjoy it .With limited snow to work with what you see is what you get. Numerous water bars and a few loose rocks to be aware of. Ride with caution early season conditions prevail. However if you find where the groomers have been there is some very good riding out there.
Sunday afternoon update. We headed over to Pittsfield and South, the Chittenden side of Pittsfield had better snow, a little boney up on south hill. As anticipated the weekend traffic has really done a number on the trails, another few inches of snow and a few days to let the groomers catchup will do wonders.
