Trail Report March 14,2017

It looks like we are going to be doing some riding. The greater Chittenden area as of 5:45 PM has received up to 2 ft of snow in some areas. We went out for a short ride and it is still is coming down.  There is no base in some places and a glare ice base in others, so keep that in mind. It is trail breaking right now. Paul is planning on going out as soon as the groomer is running..

With cold weather and  more snow in the forecast, we should be getting some riding in late March. If you choose to ride, please use caution ;there could be downed trees etc so please be advised. Ride safely and “Ride Smooth”.

I have to work in the morning so I will not be able to update tomorrow until afternoon. If you are planning on riding expect the unexpected. It will take a number of days to get the system groomed.

Probably just compacting as soon as it is possible most likely beginning tomorrow AM Trail breaking means you are the first person to break through the new snow in the trail.

  1. Great photo!
