Conditions in Chittenden remain rideable for those willing to ride cautiously constantly on the lookout for sections rocky and icy.

There were a few riders out today.If you choose to go out head for the high country and watch the water bars, conditions remain Fair to Poor.

The storm that looked so promising a couple of days ago has left us largely disappointed. The lower elevations received about 3 inches on top of a slick icy and rocky base. Upper elevations got about 4 inches. At this time we do not really recommend riding in the Chittenden area. Conditions are considered fair …

A recent 3 to 4 inch snowfall in the chittenden area has helped the cause. However with the small icy base not quite enough to make for rideable conditions. Another few inches of the good stuff and we will  be in business. Have a great holiday.

The Chittenden area received about 4 inches of new snow Saturday which on top of what we had has produced early season riding in the higher elevations with Pittsfield being in the snow jackpot.
